Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pierre-Henri Bettinger took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Sacha Evesque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paul-Henri Kermarrec didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Walter Mathias went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francis Eschbach during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Francis Eschbach hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Croisette's zone, Darren Battut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonard Cottereau came out of the goal and Darren Battut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the match, Walter Mathias notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Quintal's Paul-Henri Kermarrec. Paul-Henri Kermarrec was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Joey Dagorn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Quintal's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre-Henri Bettinger came free, but Paul-Henri Kermarrec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armand Faber's late challenge caught a Quintal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armand Faber helped the player get up and apologised. Paul-Henri Kermarrec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre-Henri Bettinger in the 31st minute of play. Quintal's Paul-Henri Kermarrec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Mathias in the 35th minute of play. A collision led to Quintal getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Tanguy Bellet hit a great ball. Antonin Duchemann charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonin Duchemann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Croisette booed when Quintal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonin Duchemann didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Croisette's Armand Faber tried to score from far away in the 38th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 40 minutes in the game, Darren Battut fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Leonard Cottereau having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Darren Battut fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Sacha Evesque kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jean-Charles Coupet during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Joey Dagorn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Darren Battut to strike the kick off in the second half. Leonard Cottereau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darren Battut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joey Dagorn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Cottereau having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Quintal's Darren Battut sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonard Cottereau narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paul-Henri Kermarrec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre-Henri Bettinger in the 60th minute of play. Paul-Henri Kermarrec stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pierre-Henri Bettinger's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 67th minute Boris Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Cottereau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Quintal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antony Fardel to maneuver through the defense. Paul-Henri Kermarrec didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 78th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. Pierre-Henri Bettinger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Paul-Henri Kermarrec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Quintal's Paul-Henri Kermarrec got control of the ball when Walter Mathias tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Croisette booed when Quintal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonin Duchemann didn't get a good kick on the ball. A long shot from Armand Faber in the 89th minute of play was well struck, but Paul-Henri Kermarrec made a really good save at the right post. Walter Mathias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paul-Henri Kermarrec having to make a save.
