Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pierre-Henri Bettinger kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Voreppe booed when Croisette was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francis Eschbach didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jolan Beche took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonard Cottereau. Leonard Cottereau dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Voreppe's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre-Henri Bettinger came free, but Alexis Bellard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walter Mathias struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Alexis Bellard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Croisette. Pierre-Henri Bettinger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Alexis Bellard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pierre-Henri Bettingers short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Alexis Bellard to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Pierre-Henri Bettinger received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alexis Bellard came out and tried to block the shot, but Pierre-Henri Bettinger slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 17th minute. Voreppe's Kevin Blard got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Pierre-Henri Bettinger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 32 minutes, Jean-Charles Coupet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Croisette and the Voreppe players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kevin Blard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonard Cottereau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After 43 played minutes Croisette got a freekick which was hit by Armand Faber. Malik Filleul struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Leonard Cottereau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Voreppe. In the 47th minute of the match Malik Filleul sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonard Cottereau skillfully saved the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kevin Blard was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Croisette's goalkeeper Leonard Cottereau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jolan Beche. Kevin Blard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Cottereau having to interfere. Croisette's Armand Faber was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alexis Bellard in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Alexis Bellard came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Croisette's Pierre-Henri Bettinger. But to his dismay, Pierre-Henri Bettinger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Pierre-Henri Bettinger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Alexis Bellard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pierre-Henri Bettinger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexis Bellard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre-Henri Bettinger in the 75th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Voreppe's Jolan Beche got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 96th minute, Croisette's Armand Faber seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Armand Faber the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Croisette protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Armand Faber had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 95 minutes into the game, one of Croisette:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Malik Filleul placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out!
