After having played for 3 minutes, Valérien Clamens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vésinet's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valérien Clamens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 4 minutes, Allan Masse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vésinet and the Wettolsheim players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 5 played minutes Vésinet got a freekick which was hit by Allan Masse. 6 minutes into the match, Vésinet's goal looked a bit too open when Tanguy Le Guyader came free, but Ferdinand Salomez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Wettolsheim's Mathis Lavocat got control of the ball when Camille Bosquet tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th minute, Tanguy Le Guyader got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Wettolsheim booed when Vésinet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Houssaye didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Wettolsheim's goalkeeper Mathis Lavocat, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Camille Bosquet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mathis Lavocat was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Ferdinand Salomez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanguy Le Guyader, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The supporters of Wettolsheim booed when Vésinet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camille Bosquet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joe Vinet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Salomez having to interfere. Joe Vinet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joe Vinet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ferdinand Salomez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joe Vinet in the 55th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Rene Lignier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wettolsheim's supporters rose to their feet, but Rene Lignier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferdinand Salomez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th minute, Camille Bosquet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ferdinand Salomez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joe Vinet in the 73rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joël Lajoie during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st match minute, Vésinet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joël Lajoie to maneuver through the defense. Ferdinand Salomez was a little too slow when Joe Vinet got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 1-1. Mathis Lavocat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valérien Clamens in the 89th minute of the match. When Gregory Perrotin came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Wettolsheim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregory Perrotin couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the game, Wettolsheim's Tanguy Le Guyader nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ferdinand Salomez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The Wettolsheim players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
