Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Josselin Pigeard started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Josselin Pigeard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruce Caudron having to interfere. When Gildas Gac came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Gandrange fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gildas Gac couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute Gildas Gac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruce Caudron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 16 minutes, Josselin Pigeard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gandrange's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josselin Pigeard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Josselin Pigeard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gildas Gac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Bruce Caudron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josselin Pigeard struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Bruce Caudron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gandrange. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gildas Gac in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruce Caudron saved Tanneron from getting behind. Gandrange's Josselin Pigeard got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gandrange's Gilbert Gitton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Gandrange from getting a goal against them. If Ewan Biet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gandrange's Josselin Pigeard got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Gandrange fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Gandrange's Gildas Gac looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Ewan Biet made the kick off in the second half. Leopold Benet hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Gilles Gleyze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Gilbert Gitton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilbert Gitton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ewan Biet in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th match minute, Gandrange was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josselin Pigeard to maneuver through the defense. The Tanneron fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Tanneron's Ewan Biet looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gildas Gac recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute Josselin Pigeard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruce Caudron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Tanneron's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gildas Gac fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gilbert Gitton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilles Gleyze in the 96th minute of the match.
