Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Josselin Pigeard kicked off to start the match. Loic Helie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Gilbert Gitton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Roques's Felicien Preux got a free kick in the 20th minute. A collision led to Roques getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Alexis Behr hit a great ball. Gaetan Chancerel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josselin Pigeard in the 31st minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Loic Helie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Roques's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gandrange the free kick. Gilbert Gitton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelien Chazalon, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Gaetan Chancerel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josselin Pigeard in the 44th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Roques's zone, Josselin Pigeard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaetan Chancerel came out of the goal and Josselin Pigeard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
52 minutes into the game, Valerien Giacomoni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gandrange's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Roques the free kick. After a rather tough play, Gandrange's Josselin Pigeard got a free kick in the 56th minute. Gaetan Chancerel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josselin Pigeard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Loic Helie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roques's supporters rose to their feet, but Loic Helie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilbert Gitton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Loic Helie struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Gilbert Gitton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Roques. After 69 played minutes Gandrange got a freekick which was hit by Flavian Jourdan. Loic Helie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Gitton having to interfere. Gandrange's Gilbert Gitton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelien Chazalon in the 82nd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Luc Huss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claude Le Gallo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gaetan Chancerel. Roques's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Roques's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
