Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Djibril Delannoy got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute Jean-Philippe Boulet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul-Henri Rousse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 played minutes Vauréal got a freekick which was hit by Moise Seznec. In the 10thth minute of the game Jean-Philippe Boulet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vauréal's Paul-Henri Rousse was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vauréal's Djibril Delannoy got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16thth minute of the game Leo Vialatte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vauréal's Paul-Henri Rousse was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Leo Vialatte came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Crolles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Vialatte couldn't finish the play. After 21 minutes, Louis Berranger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crolles and the Vauréal players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 22 played minutes Crolles got a freekick which was hit by Louis Berranger. Djibril Delannoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Leo Vialatte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Leo Vialatte made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Hocine Jobard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Crolles's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 53rd minute of the game, when Andre Foury after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Vauréal's goal. Andre Foury was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. 55 minutes in the game, Leo Vialatte fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Paul-Henri Rousse having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jean-Philippe Boulet got free with Paul-Henri Rousse in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paul-Henri Rousse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Vialatte in the 61st minute of play. Paul-Henri Rousse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Vialatte in the 63rd minute of the match. Alix Valente charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alix Valente the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Vauréal booed when Crolles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alix Valente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Didier Guenon didn't quite understand what happened when in the 71 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. When Edouard Cureau fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vauréal's protests and gave Edouard Cureau a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd match minute, Crolles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Vialatte to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Leo Vialatte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jean-Philippe Boulet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vauréal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael Poullain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jean-Philippe Boulet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Paul-Henri Rousse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 88 minutes, Jean-Philippe Boulet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crolles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean-Philippe Boulet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
