If Flavien Ducasse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matthieu Nicoud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yvan Denize, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Arthur Jousseaume kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After 13 played minutes Bagneux got a freekick which was hit by Hippolyte Archimbaud. Paul-Henri Lancelle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walter Chassaing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the game, Herve Paquet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Verrière's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bagneux the free kick. In the 20th minute, Herve Paquet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute of the match, Yvan Denize tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Matthieu Nicoud saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Flavien Ducasse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matthieu Nicoud acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 32nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sylvain Puren. In the 33rd match minute, Bagneux was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herve Deflandre to maneuver through the defense. After 35 played minutes Verrière got a freekick which was hit by Herve Paquet. Paul-Henri Lancelle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walter Chassaing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yvan Denize was the one to do the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Yvan Denize who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bagneux's Matthieu Nicoud was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yvan Denize in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matthieu Nicoud prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Walter Chassaing scored 0-3 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paul-Henri Lancelle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Walter Chassaing managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bagneux's supporters rose to their feet, but Walter Chassaing was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paul-Henri Lancelle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Herve Paquet was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 64 minutes had been played. Herve Paquet hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Paul-Henri Lancelle acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 65th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Hippolyte Archimbaud. The audience thought a goal was coming when Walter Chassaing got free with Paul-Henri Lancelle in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Charles Ledoux lost his temper 72 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Verrière fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! Hippolyte Archimbaud shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Paul-Henri Lancelle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bixente Bosc, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Walter Chassaing struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Paul-Henri Lancelle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bagneux. In the 79th minute, Sabri Moine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Bagneux booed when Verrière was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honore Morin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Bagneux's Arthur Jousseaume slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paul-Henri Lancelle. That made the score 0-4 after 86 minutes of play. The supporters of Bagneux booed when Verrière was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yvan Denize didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bagneux had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
