Luis Plaisance might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joel Guillet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Plaisance ran back to his position shaking his head. Redouane Benezet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Christophe Brière tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 minutes, Jarod Hamonic mouthed his way into the referee's book. Christophe Susini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christophe Brière having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Luis Plaisance managed to get in a good position for a shot. Perrinche's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Plaisance was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Guillet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Mundolsheim's zone, Luis Plaisance stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Guillet came out of the goal and Luis Plaisance tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
