But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augustin Trillaud couldn't finish the play. Arnaud Lassus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thibaut Le Ber having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Yannick Barres dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Thibaut Le Ber, 2-3. Pierre-Henri Le Petit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augustin Trillaud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Yannick Barres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augustin Trillaud in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pierre-Henri Le Petit prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thibaut Le Ber stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yannick Barres's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Leffrinckoucke's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
