To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulo Tartarin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Timothé Danger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Tartarin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute, Fabien Pauwels reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Berenger Martiny. The goal made the score 1-2. Timothé Danger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Tartarin in the 65th minute of the match. In the 66thth minute of the game Gaspard Hourcade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chevry's Timothé Danger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hocine Morisson's late challenge caught a Bazus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hocine Morisson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bazus booed when Chevry was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hocine Morisson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Timothé Danger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspard Hourcade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Fabien Pauwels came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Chevry fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabien Pauwels couldn't finish the play. Hocine Morisson might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Berenger Martiny. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hocine Morisson ran back to his position shaking his head. 79 minutes into the match, Paulo Tartarin notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Chevry's Timothé Danger. Timothé Danger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Teddy Wendling fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bazus's protests and gave Teddy Wendling a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th match minute, Bazus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teddy Wendling to maneuver through the defense. If Fabien Pauwels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 94th minute, Gaspard Hourcade left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bazus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2.
