Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bruce Ballot started the match with the kick off. Bixente Luciani stood somewhat misplaced when Matthieu Clamens came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 3 minute. Abdel Damour showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Rochefort in the 14th minute of the match. Ramzi Allais scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abdel Damour, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abdel Damour showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Rochefort, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Ramzi Allais might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abdel Damour. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ramzi Allais ran back to his position shaking his head. Gaston Rochefort fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdel Damour having to interfere. Hautée's Abdel Damour played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Rochefort in the 27th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramzi Allais in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abdel Damour prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gaston Rochefort fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdel Damour having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Gaston Rochefort ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abdel Damour was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After having played for 40 minutes, Gaston Rochefort managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rouvignies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaston Rochefort was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Gaston Rochefort managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rouvignies's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaston Rochefort was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdel Damour breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 45 minutes into the match, Ramzi Allais notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Hautée's Abdel Damour. Abdel Damour was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Rouvignies were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaston Rochefort to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaston Rochefort in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdel Damour saved Hautée from getting behind. Gaston Rochefort sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Rouvignies booed when Hautée was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gérard Calvo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Ramzi Allais notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Hautée's Abdel Damour. Abdel Damour was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Hautée's zone, Gaston Rochefort stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdel Damour came out of the goal and Gaston Rochefort tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaston Rochefort in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abdel Damour prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gaston Rochefort sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Hautée's Abdel Damour got control of the ball when Ramzi Allais tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 2-4 when Bruce Ballot sped through Rouvignies's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bixente Luciani. Rouvignies's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
