Pierre-Antoine Peret showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmond Fourre, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Claira! The referee gave Parmain a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Isaac Ober, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Claira's Jean-Paul Fauvel. 1-0. After 13 played minutes Parmain got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Ober. Claira's Alex Dartiguelongue couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 15th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Parmain. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Merlet got free with Jean-Paul Fauvel in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pierre-Antoine Peret came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Claira's Edmond Fourre. But to his dismay, Edmond Fourre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julien Martens in the 25th minute of play forced Parmain's goalkeeper Pierre-Antoine Peret to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jean-Paul Fauvel made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Michael Merlet sent off a good shot on target. After 27 played minutes Claira got a freekick which was hit by Eymeric Legal. After 30 played minutes Claira got a freekick which was hit by Eymeric Legal. When Michael Merlet came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Parmain fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Merlet couldn't finish the play. Edmond Fourre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Pierre-Antoine Peret tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 played minutes Jonathan Galtier rounded Claira's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The wind increased when Maxime Barot made the kick off in the second half. Claira's Jean-Paul Fauvel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Merlet in the 54th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex Dartiguelongue during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Claira's Alex Dartiguelongue got a free kick in the 58th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Claira's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Merlet came free, but Jean-Paul Fauvel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Edmond Fourre came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Claira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmond Fourre couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Merlet in the 79th minute of play forced Claira's goalkeeper Jean-Paul Fauvel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 minutes of play, Claira's Julien Martens made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pierre-Antoine Peret was left in no man's land by his defense there! Claira were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
