Alix Lepeltier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marc Gallay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moise Landes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Montferrier's zone, Auguste Ranc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marc Gallay came out of the goal and Auguste Ranc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alix Lepeltier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alix Lepeltier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blaise Nourry having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Serge Chevrier could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Blaise Nourry however easily saved by the left post. In the 33rd minute, Auguste Ranc ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marc Gallay was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Selliers's Auguste Ranc got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Serge Chevrier succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 42nd playminute. After having played for 46 minutes, Alix Lepeltier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montferrier's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alix Lepeltier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 47 minutes, Donatien Ribiere mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Selliers and the Montferrier players grew even worse after the yellow card. Donatien Ribiere hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. 50 minutes into the game, Felicien Cornec was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Selliers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montferrier the free kick. After 50 played minutes Selliers got a freekick which was hit by Felicien Cornec. After 53 minutes Selliers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Simon Le Falher who took care of the corner kick. Montferrier's Simon Le Falher was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Blaise Nourry in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moise Landes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Selliers's goal looked a bit too open when Serge Chevrier came free, but Blaise Nourry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Alix Lepeltier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montferrier's supporters rose to their feet, but Alix Lepeltier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blaise Nourry breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matheo Ravenel hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Alix Lepeltier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Moise Landes struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Marc Gallay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Selliers. Blaise Nourry took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serge Chevrier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute Alix Lepeltier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blaise Nourry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alix Lepeltier came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Montferrier fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alix Lepeltier couldn't finish the play. After having played for 93 minutes, Serge Chevrier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montferrier's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serge Chevrier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 100th minute of the match Antoine Nicolai shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Blaise Nourry showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Blaise Nourry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serge Chevrier, who was totally free with the ball in the 102nd minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Montferrier fully deserved thier win.
