In the 2nd match minute, Cenon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Bueno to maneuver through the defense. Eugene Helle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henri Malaval, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Florentin Mori received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Nathan Auroy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Loic Palma kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Joey Verwaerde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nathan Auroy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joey Verwaerde in the 36th minute of play forced Cabestany's goalkeeper Nathan Auroy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Florentin Mori shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nathan Auroy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cenon's Ernest Liege got a free kick in the 41st minute. After 43 played minutes Cenon got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Boitard. Eugene Helle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henri Malaval in the 46th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Henri Malaval made the kick off in the second half. Nathan Auroy made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Florentin Mori sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Cenon getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Florentin Mori hit a great ball. Henri Malaval struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Eugene Helle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cabestany. Henri Malaval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Eugene Helle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henri Malaval fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugene Helle having to interfere. After 74 played minutes Cenon got a freekick which was hit by Chris Bueno. In the 76th minute, Henri Malaval made a precise shot to the right of Eugene Helle. Cenon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 80th minute, Florentin Mori ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nathan Auroy was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Eugene Helle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loic Palma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th match minute, Cabestany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renaud Gaboriaud to maneuver through the defense. Florentin Mori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
