An unexpectedly hard shot by Yann Heurtault in the 32nd minute of play forced Charvonnex's goalkeeper Guy Verdet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alain Audet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jean-Philippe Chardon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Menuge having to interfere. Fabian Menuge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Trentemoult's Antonin Tribout got a free kick in the 40th minute. After 43 minutes Trentemoult's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. The corner led Charvonnex's Noel Henaff to fire away a dangerous shot which Fabian Menuge despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Harry Gohier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trentemoult's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alain Audet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Trentemoult booed when Charvonnex was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emeric Marcq didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 71stth minute of the game Alain Audet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Charvonnex's Guy Verdet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Yann Heurtault had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Menuge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Gohier in the 82nd minute of the match. When Yann Heurtault came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Trentemoult fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yann Heurtault couldn't finish the play. Alain Audet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guy Verdet having to interfere. The Charvonnex support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
