Masny's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Morangis the free kick. Benjamin Soum hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. If Eddy Lasalle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Morangis getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Aurelien Richou hit a great ball. Gauthier Wargnier kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes, Masny's Samy Boisson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Philippe Alcaraz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Masny reached it. A collision led to Masny getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Benjamin Soum hit a great ball. When Morangis's Willy Magot in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Masny's goalie prevented a goal. The attack was good, but when Adam Noyer in the 22nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Franck Ravenel walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 29 minutes into the game, Gauthier Wargnier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 30th minute, Samy Boisson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Morangis's Philippe Alcaraz didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willy Magot in the 36th minute of play forced Masny's goalkeeper Matheo Matignon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 40 minutes, Gauthier Wargnier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morangis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gauthier Wargnier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Philippe Alcaraz made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Eddy Lasalle sent off a good shot on target. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adam Noyer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Philippe Alcaraz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eddy Lasalle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamin Soum's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Philippe Alcaraz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Benjamin Soum struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Philippe Alcaraz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Masny. If Eddy Lasalle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Morangis's goal looked a bit too open when Eddy Lasalle came free, but Philippe Alcaraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Morangis's zone, Loic Dreau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philippe Alcaraz came out of the goal and Loic Dreau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin Soum in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Philippe Alcaraz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adam Noyer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matheo Matignon having to make a save. In the 69th minute Adam Noyer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matheo Matignon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eddy Lasalle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Masny's Matheo Matignon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Noyer in the 74th minute of play. After having played for 76 minutes, Eddy Lasalle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Masny's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eddy Lasalle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Philippe Alcaraz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Soum in the 78th minute of the match. Benjamin Soum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Philippe Alcaraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Philippe Alcaraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Soum in the 83rd minute of play. Eddy Lasalle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Willy Magot ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matheo Matignon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Matthieu Riva came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Morangis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matthieu Riva couldn't finish the play. The Morangis players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
