Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Jonas Bonifay made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute Aurelien Le Saux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sam Blondeau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Misérieux's Sam Blondeau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelien Le Saux in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Bonifay in the 11th minute of play forced Ox's goalkeeper Joaquim Guinand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Joseph Lapalus came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Misérieux fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joseph Lapalus couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Jonas Bonifay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquim Guinand was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. 22 minutes into the match, Aurelien Le Saux had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sam Blondeau. Misérieux's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aurelien Le Saux was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Jonas Bonifay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joseph Lapalus was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 29th minute. Misérieux's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Joel Keita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Guinand having to interfere. Joaquim Guinand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Bonifay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Ox's goalkeeper Joaquim Guinand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joseph Lapalus. If Aurelien Le Saux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 48 minutes into the game, Jonas Bonifay recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joaquim Guinand. Jonas Bonifay showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Theophile Bigeard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benoit Moutet's late challenge caught a Ox's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benoit Moutet helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Misérieux's Benoit Moutet got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 61st match minute, Misérieux was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Bonifay to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute of the match, Theophile Bigeard tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sam Blondeau saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Aurelien Le Saux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee ignored Ox's protests and gave Pierre-Olivier Caffin a yellow card for diving instead. Joaquim Guinand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Bonifay, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute Theophile Bigeard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sam Blondeau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 97 minutes of play Misérieux's Benoit Moutet was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Misérieux lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
