Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pierre-Antoine Vedie kicked off to start the match. Joseph Lapalus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelien Devauchelle having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Fabien Visse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samy Jaffre made a great header on Canabias's corner, it was just that Misérieux's Sam Blondeau managed to reach the ball for a save. Michel Lienard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Misérieux getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Joel Keita hit a great ball. Sam Blondeau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre-Antoine Vedie, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. If Joseph Lapalus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Jonas Bonifay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Misérieux's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Bonifay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelien Devauchelle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 36 played minutes Canabias got a freekick which was hit by Ahmid Fanton. 39 minutes into the game, Daniel Brosse was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canabias's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Misérieux the free kick. Daniel Brosse kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Misérieux's Pascal Alfonsi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jonas Bonifay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aurelien Devauchelle having to make a save. If Jonas Bonifay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
58 minutes into the match, Canabias's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Lapalus came free, but Aurelien Devauchelle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurelien Devauchelle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Lapalus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Michel Lienard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelien Devauchelle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Bonifay, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute, Jonas Bonifay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Pierre-Antoine Vedie came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Canabias fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pierre-Antoine Vedie couldn't finish the play. Jonas Bonifay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Aurelien Devauchelle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Jonas Bonifay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aurelien Devauchelle was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Pierre-Antoine Vedie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sam Blondeau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Misérieux's Joseph Lapalus got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Canabias's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
