Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Thomas Caby kicked off to start the match. Richard Paillat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francois-Xavier Merienne having to interfere. Richard Paillat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francois-Xavier Merienne read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Honore Thirion took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francois-Xavier Merienne. Francois-Xavier Merienne dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Honore Thirion might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francois-Xavier Merienne. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Honore Thirion ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Richard Paillat in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francois-Xavier Merienne saved Chanonat from getting behind. Honore Thirion struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Francois-Xavier Merienne didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ronchin. In the 24th minute, Honore Thirion got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Paillat in the 26th minute of play forced Chanonat's goalkeeper Francois-Xavier Merienne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honore Thirion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute Richard Paillat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francois-Xavier Merienne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ronchin booed when Chanonat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Moine didn't get a good kick on the ball. Germain Rethore kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Chanonat's Thomas Caby sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronan Neuville narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Morgan Foure fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronan Neuville having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Richard Paillat to make the kick off. Chanonat's Francois-Xavier Merienne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Paillat in the 52nd minute of play. Arthur Gastaud's late challenge caught a Ronchin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arthur Gastaud helped the player get up and apologised. Sofiane Planchon was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 56th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Honore Thirion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 played minutes Chanonat got a freekick which was hit by John Moine. In the 65th minute, Morgan Foure left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chanonat fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Honore Thirion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute Richard Paillat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francois-Xavier Merienne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herbert Corneille charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Herbert Corneille the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th minute, one of Chanonat:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chanonat. A collision led to Chanonat getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ronan Degremont hit a great ball. Thomas Caby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronan Neuville having to interfere. Ronan Neuville showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Caby in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 92nd match minute, Ronchin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Dominique to maneuver through the defense. Richard Paillat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francois-Xavier Merienne having to make a save. Honore Thirion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Chanonat getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Rudy Carrillo hit a great ball. Sofiane Planchon, 97 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
