After having played for 54 minutes, Mario Berthome managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Courdimanche's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Berthome was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Mario Berthome notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Montgermont's Dominique Patissier. Courdimanche's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
