Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Robin Chaffard got the match started through his kick off. Tony Stievenard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eliott Miguet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jerome Feron fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Traouidan's protests and gave Jerome Feron a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 17 minutes, Eliott Miguet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mulhouse's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliott Miguet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes into the game, Gilles Bazoge was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mulhouse's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Traouidan the free kick. A collision led to Mulhouse getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Gilles Bazoge hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Traouidan's Martin Verges sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rudy Plazanet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Robin Chaffard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Verges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Mulhouse's Rudy Plazanet got control of the ball when Martin Verges tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mulhouse's zone, Martin Verges stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rudy Plazanet came out of the goal and Martin Verges tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Traouidan's Jacques Yang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliott Miguet in the 45th minute of play. Eliott Miguet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The wind increased when Tony Stievenard made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robin Chaffard in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacques Yang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tony Stievenard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudy Plazanet having to interfere. Martin Verges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Axel Georgeon hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, Robin Chaffard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Timothe Courtel hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, Traouidan's goalkeeper Jacques Yang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliott Miguet. Rudy Plazanet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Verges's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Eliott Miguet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Mulhouse's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Verges came free, but Rudy Plazanet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Basile Dieudonne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Traouidan's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
