In the 3rd minute Sam Cloix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Perdriau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Barras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Adam Grun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adam Grun struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Jean-Christophe Barriere didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mesclans. When Jean-Michel Julliard came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Mesclans fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean-Michel Julliard couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mesclans's goalkeeper Rene Perdriau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Sam Cloix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Semécourt booed when Mesclans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jules Philippeau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jean-Christophe Barriere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Michel Julliard, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Roman Ramette charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roman Ramette the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Roman Ramette kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leon Barras made a kick off. Rene Perdriau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Barras in the 52nd minute of the match. If Sam Cloix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jean-Christophe Barriere was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adam Grun showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 60 minute of play. Jean-Michel Julliards short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Jean-Christophe Barriere to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 67th match minute, Semécourt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herve Zaoui to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Semécourt's Jean-Christophe Barriere got control of the ball when Jean-Michel Julliard tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jean-Michel Julliard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Christophe Barriere having to interfere. Jules Philippeau kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Valerien Lagorce hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Semécourt's Noe Sebert broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 85th minute, Herve Zaoui ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rene Perdriau was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Leon Barras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sam Cloix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Mesclans's goal looked a bit too open when Sam Cloix came free, but Rene Perdriau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jean-Michel Julliard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Christophe Barriere having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
