Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Méréville's Jean-Michel Cueff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Servais in the 8th minute of play. If Raphael Chambrier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Raphael Chambrier came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Silvange fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raphael Chambrier couldn't finish the play. In the 19thth minute of the game Harry Dury who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Méréville's Jean-Michel Cueff was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Berenger Amirault had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When %teams%'s Berenger Amirault was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-1 just inside the left pole, 25 minutes into the game. Marin Perret was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Berenger Amirault recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jean-Michel Cueff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Servais in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd match minute, Méréville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Claret to maneuver through the defense. Jean-Michel Cueff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Servais in the 35th minute of play. Alex Claret kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 37thth minute of the game Raphael Chambrier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Méréville's Jean-Michel Cueff was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joel Servais might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jean-Michel Cueff. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Servais ran back to his position shaking his head. Harry Dury fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Michel Cueff having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Raphael Chambrier made the kick off in the second half. Joel Servais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jean-Michel Cueff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harry Dury kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Joel Servais managed to get in a good position for a shot. Silvange's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Servais was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean-Michel Cueff breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jean-Michel Cueff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raphael Chambrier in the 85th minute of the match. If Raphael Chambrier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson Fremy in the 92nd minute of play forced Silvange's goalkeeper Marin Perret to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Silvange players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
