Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Silvange's Raphael Chambrier started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A hard shot by Brian Garcia from long distance, 3 minutes into the match, got Jean-Michel Janin's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Harry Dury received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Jean-Michel Janin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Silvange's Raphael Chambrier ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jean-Michel Janin. Jean-Michel Janin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 10th minute, Carl Deruelle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antony Courtel charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antony Courtel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Antony Courtel kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Patrice Normand hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Joel Servais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Michel Janin having to interfere. Marin Perret stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emmanuel Ducourneau's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Marin Perret came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Mirail's Geoffrey Frechou. But to his dismay, Geoffrey Frechou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Jean-Michel Janin made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Joel Servais sent off a good shot on target. 39 minutes into the game, Jean-Baptiste Ayrault was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mirail's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Silvange the free kick. The supporters of Silvange booed when Mirail was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Baptiste Ayrault didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raphael Chambrier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Jean-Michel Janin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emmanuel Ducourneau to strike the kick off in the second half. Marin Perret stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emmanuel Ducourneau's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Silvange's Marin Perret proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Silvange from getting a goal against them. After 59 minutes of play, Silvange's Joel Servais made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jean-Michel Janin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joel Servais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute Emmanuel Ducourneau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marin Perret saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Antony Courtel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marin Perret. Silvange's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antony Courtel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Geoffrey Frechou kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The corner led to Silvange's Raphael Chambrier getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Marin Perret was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Emmanuel Ducourneau capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emmanuel Ducourneau really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. Marin Perret stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emmanuel Ducourneau's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Antony Courtel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 98th minute, Harry Dury hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patrice Normand, 99 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
