When Cuinchy's Brian Laignel, in the 25th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Cuinchy. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aubière's goalkeeper Victorien Chapus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Brian Laignel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Victorien Chapus made a huge save. Aubière's Victorien Chapus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Aubière from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Victorien Chapus successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cedric Tourret scored 2-0 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victorien Chapus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ibrahim Thomasset to strike the kick off in the second half. Ibrahim Thomasset received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eloi Cottet came out and tried to block the shot, but Ibrahim Thomasset slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 52nd minute. Boris Masselot charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boris Masselot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Aubière's Boris Masselot got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 75 played minutes Cuinchy got a freekick which was hit by Mehdi Bringer. Boris Masselot hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, Cuinchy's Brian Laignel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victorien Chapus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cuinchy's Brian Laignel got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cedric Tourret blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victorien Chapus having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cedric Tourret in the 87th minute of play forced Aubière's goalkeeper Victorien Chapus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Brian Laignel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cedric Tourret came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Cuinchy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cedric Tourret couldn't finish the play. Cuinchy were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Aubière for a fine match.
