Joseph Granjon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Jean-Baptiste Bascoul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alix Louboutin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavier Pincon having to interfere. Aurelien Biraud kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Jean-Baptiste Bascoul stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Renaud Hoffmann's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Daniel Le Fevre kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 46th play minute Bertrand Daguenet came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Xavier Pincon. 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The supporters of Nonardie booed when Ecully was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Barbeau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bertrand Daguenet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Alix Louboutin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecully's Xavier Pincon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertrand Daguenet in the 66th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Joseph Granjon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecully's supporters rose to their feet, but Joseph Granjon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean-Baptiste Bascoul breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Regis Mazin hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Bertrand Daguenet might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xavier Pincon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bertrand Daguenet ran back to his position shaking his head. Alix Louboutin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Ecully booed when Nonardie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Lafaye didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelien Biraud could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Jean-Baptiste Bascoul made a huge save. Nonardie had won after a very even match.
