Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Robert Cholet kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Bruno Souchon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Veigné's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Souchon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olivier Prieto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 11 minutes, Robin Segond managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Veigné's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robin Segond was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th match minute, Pirey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Redouane Patou to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute Alphonse Guillerm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olivier Prieto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Pirey getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Redouane Patou hit a great ball. Alphonse Guillerm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bryan Vincent struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Sam Clero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pirey. Alphonse Guillerm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bryan Vincent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Sam Clero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alphonse Guillerm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pierre-Henri Geraud charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pierre-Henri Geraud the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th minute, Pierre-Henri Geraud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robert Cholet struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Sam Clero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pirey. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alphonse Guillerm to strike the kick off in the second half. Bryan Vincent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Veigné's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pirey the free kick. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Veigné! Bryan Vincent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sam Clero having to interfere. Gabriel Nebout's late challenge caught a Veigné's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabriel Nebout helped the player get up and apologised. Gabriel Nebout hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Olivier Prieto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin Segond, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Bryan Vincent took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sam Clero. Sam Clero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Sam Clero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bryan Vincent in the 84th minute. In the 89th minute of the match Bruno Souchon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olivier Prieto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Olivier Prieto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Segond in the 90th minute of the match. Robin Segond's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olivier Prieto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play.
