Sofiane Balay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daryl Lachaux having to interfere. After 17 minutes, Abdel Skrzypczak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uchaud and the Mondelange players grew even worse after the yellow card. Abdel Skrzypczak kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Sofiane Balay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daryl Lachaux saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute of the match Axel Le Goff shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Walter Ruffenach showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mondelange's Walter Ruffenach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Fournet in the 45th minute of play. The supporters of Mondelange booed when Uchaud was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdel Skrzypczak didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Daryl Lachaux managed to avoid a goal in the 48thth minute, when Mondelange's Joris Sevestre fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sofiane Balay made a kick off. Daryl Lachaux made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Auguste Guionnet in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Uchaud's goal looked a bit too open when Joris Sevestre came free, but Daryl Lachaux reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uchaud's Daryl Lachaux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sofiane Balay in the 56th minute of play. Walter Ruffenach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pierre-Antoine Mollier in the 62nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Auguste Guionnet during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Mondelange was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Auguste Guionnet to maneuver through the defense. Joris Sevestre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Mondelange's Walter Ruffenach got control of the ball when Réda Poly tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nathan Gangloff during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Johan Fournet was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 85th minute. Uchaud's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Réda Polys short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Walter Ruffenach to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Joris Sevestre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Joris Sevestre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daryl Lachaux was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mondelange had won after a very even match.
