The supporters of Planque booed when Sentinelle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pierrick Coupeau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matthieu Mennesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Bordes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alban Baillon in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck William Valery prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michael Vezin during the 54th minute. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Lorenzo Bordes took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Matthieu Mennesson to make any attempt to save it. Alban Baillon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but William Valery read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Lorenzo Bordes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
