Bernard Boillot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabian Maridet's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Montady's Salim Moisy got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute Robert Marie-Joseph shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre-Antoine Verron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aime Riquier hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Pierre-Antoine Verron was a little too slow when Robert Marie-Joseph got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 1-1. Bernard Boillot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alix Herbaux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Montady fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Montady's Salim Moisy looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 90 minutes into the match, Montady's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Maridet came free, but Bernard Boillot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 played minutes Montady got a freekick which was hit by Aime Riquier. After having played for 95 minutes, Alix Herbaux managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montmain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alix Herbaux was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Salim Moisy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Pierre-Antoine Verron made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Montady had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
