When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Robert Marie-Joseph put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Malik Audouy. Bernard Boillot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claude Bessonnet in the 8th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Montady's Robert Marie-Joseph sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Malik Audouy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Salim Moisy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malik Audouy having to interfere. Rudy Duprat's late challenge caught a Félix's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rudy Duprat helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Montady's Rudy Duprat got a free kick in the 24th minute. Claude Bessonnet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Bernard Boillot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jean-Philippe Marchant struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Bernard Boillot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Félix. After 28 minutes, Mathys Hanin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Félix and the Montady players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Robert Marie-Joseph came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Montady fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Marie-Joseph couldn't finish the play. After having played for 33 minutes, Claude Bessonnet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Félix's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claude Bessonnet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernard Boillot made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Jean-Philippe Marchant sent off a good shot on target. 39 minutes into the match, Salim Moisy notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Félix's Malik Audouy. Malik Audouy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Jean-Philippe Marchant got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Malik Audouy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salim Moisy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robert Marie-Joseph made a kick off. Claude Bessonnet might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernard Boillot. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claude Bessonnet ran back to his position shaking his head. Laurent Nivet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernard Boillot having to interfere. Bernard Boillot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Philippe Marchant in the 59th minute of play. Robert Marie-Joseph fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malik Audouy having to interfere. Félix's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Robert Marie-Joseph scored to the left of an out of position Malik Audouy, making the score, 0-3. In the 75th minute Claude Bessonnet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernard Boillot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Félix's Malik Audouy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Marie-Joseph in the 77th minute of play. After some careless play in the Montady defense, Jean-Philippe Marchant kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernard Boillot. The Montady fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernard Boillot should have stopped the shot. A hard shot 90 in the game by Salim Moisy from a close distance when the talented Malik Audouy managed to make a qualified save. Félix's players were relieved. In the 91st minute Claude Bessonnet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernard Boillot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernard Boillot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurent Nivet, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 93 minutes into the match, Laurent Nivet notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Montady's Bernard Boillot. Bernard Boillot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Montady walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
