The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Mennecy's Alain Fievre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jerome Romeo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Bouquiniére's Donovan Nowicki slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sidney Kervella. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. Billy Bee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donovan Nowicki in the 12th minute of play forced Mennecy's goalkeeper Sidney Kervella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alain Fievre in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerome Romeo saved Bouquiniére from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alain Fievre in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. The supporters of Bouquiniére booed when Mennecy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Labelle didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Norbert Goyard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Billy Bee was the one to do the kick off. Mennecy's Billy Bee got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, Bouquiniére's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Bee came free, but Jerome Romeo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alain Fievres short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Jerome Romeo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Mennecy's Edgard Labelle got a free kick in the 62nd minute. When Norbert Goyard came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Bouquiniére fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norbert Goyard couldn't finish the play. Mennecy's Sidney Kervella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Goyard in the 67th minute of play. Sidney Kervella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norbert Goyard in the 69th minute of the match. Jean-Pierre Levant hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Donovan Nowicki put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sidney Kervella. Norbert Goyard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidney Kervella having to interfere. Billy Bee kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match.
