The audience cheered when Antonin Thorel's long shot passed Hippolyte Charlemagne's right side. It was 0-1, 4 minutes into the match. Moruel's Hippolyte Charlemagne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Nion in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Moruel's Paul-Henri Beney got a free kick in the 8th minute. Lionel Ducruet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antoine Baradel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Lionel Ducruet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paul-Henri Beney charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paul-Henri Beney the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th match minute, Moruel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul-Henri Beney to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Antoine Baradel could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Donatien Hoffmann however easily saved by the left post. Donatien Hoffmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luka Becquart in the 21st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bruz's Lionel Ducruet got a free kick in the 24th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Moruel's zone, Felicien Breant stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hippolyte Charlemagne came out of the goal and Felicien Breant tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Moruel's Hippolyte Charlemagne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Nion in the 37th minute of play. Antoine Baradel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donatien Hoffmann having to interfere.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felicien Breant to make the kick off. Donatien Hoffmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antoine Baradel, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 57 played minutes Bruz got a freekick which was hit by Matheo Bouclet. In the 65th minute Antoine Baradel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donatien Hoffmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lionel Ducruet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Hippolyte Charlemagne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Bruz getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Felicien Breant hit a great ball. In the 69thth minute of the game Antoine Baradel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bruz's Donatien Hoffmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Bruz's Antonin Thorel got a free kick in the 74th minute. After 77 minutes, Luka Becquart made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bruz's Donatien Hoffmann tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felicien Breant in the 81st minute of play forced Moruel's goalkeeper Hippolyte Charlemagne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felicien Breant received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hippolyte Charlemagne came out and tried to block the shot, but Felicien Breant slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 82nd minute. In the 86th minute, Felicien Breant got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Moruel's Hippolyte Charlemagne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felicien Breant in the 90th minute of play. Donatien Hoffmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luka Becquart, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Bruz were furious when Jacques Galibert was red carded, 94 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
