The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Rudy Cazorla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Boissonnet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hippolyte Cogne in the 9th minute of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Rudy Cazorla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Herblay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rudy Cazorla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anthony Delgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Dugast having to interfere. Hippolyte Cogne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Boissonnet having to interfere. After 22 minutes, Samy Quehen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Angon and the Herblay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Harry Jouannet kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. If Jules Bultel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Boissonnet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hippolyte Cogne in the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Jules Bultel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mohamed Dugast. Jules Bultel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. If Jules Bultel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Herblay getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Batiste Lahaye hit a great ball. Jules Bultel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute Jules Bultel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamed Dugast saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Anthony Delgado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Mohamed Dugast was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hippolyte Cogne to make the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, Angon's Jules Bultel made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mohamed Dugast was left in no man's land by his defense there! Billy Demaret charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Billy Demaret the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Billy Demaret kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. The supporters of Herblay booed when Angon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jules Bultel didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Alexandre Boissonnet managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Herblay's Rudy Cazorla fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 68 minutes of play Angon's Samy Quehen was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Angon's Samy Quehen got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 71st minute, Rudy Cazorla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexandre Boissonnet was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. In the 74th minute, Albert Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jules Bultel charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jules Bultel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Herblay booed when Angon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jules Bultel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hippolyte Cogne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rudy Cazorla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Alexandre Boissonnet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Angon got a freekick which was hit by Albert Campos. Rudy Cazorla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Alexandre Boissonnet made a huge save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Herblay players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Angon.
