Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Herblay's Hippolyte Cogne started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Hippolyte Cogne fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Herblay's protests and gave Hippolyte Cogne a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Herblay got a freekick which was hit by Hippolyte Cogne. Francois Pageot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Dugast having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aymerick Rousset in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mohamed Dugast prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aucamville's Francois Pageot got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emile Bensalem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hippolyte Cogne in the 18th minute of play. Francois Pageot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Herblay's zone, Francois Pageot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohamed Dugast came out of the goal and Francois Pageot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Francois Pageot sped through Herblay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mohamed Dugast. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Herblay's goalkeeper Mohamed Dugast, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aymerick Rousset stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emile Bensalem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hippolyte Cogne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60thth minute of the game Rudy Cazorla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aucamville's Emile Bensalem was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emile Bensalem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudy Cazorla in the 62nd minute of play. Hippolyte Cogne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emile Bensalem read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Mohamed Dugast took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aymerick Rousset, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mohamed Dugast showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aymerick Rousset, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Aucamville's Francois Pageot got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Herblay's zone, Francois Pageot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohamed Dugast came out of the goal and Francois Pageot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Hippolyte Cogne came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Herblay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hippolyte Cogne couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute, Mathis Sohier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aucamville's Matheo Adel couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 95th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Herblay. Mohamed Dugast took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aymerick Rousset, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Despite being the better team, Aucamville failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
