Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Camille Marquette got the match started through his kick off. After 2 played minutes Vernéa got a freekick which was hit by Émeric Mériaux. Gregoire Courty could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Gabriel Fuzeau made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yvan Hachet got free with Gabriel Fuzeau in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gabriel Fuzeau was a little too slow when Yvan Hachet got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. Versailles's Yvan Hachet got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gael Claisse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camille Marquette in the 22nd minute of the match. Gael Claisse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camille Marquette, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilles Bruley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Fuzeau having to interfere. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gilles Bruley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yvan Hachet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Fuzeau having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilles Bruley made a kick off. Gabriel Fuzeau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilles Bruley in the 58th minute of play. Gael Claisse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camille Marquette, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute, Lamine Barbarin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gael Claisse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batiste Montero in the 65th minute of the match. Gabriel Fuzeau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilles Bruley in the 66th minute of the match. Versailles's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
