Eliott Jamme's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 6thth minute, Eddy Drouillard skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Eddy Thiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justin Musy in the 9th minute of the match. Eddy Thiel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurent Defontaine, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. If Justin Musy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eddy Thiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justin Musy in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Claude Ranson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bluffy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arenberg the free kick. The supporters of Arenberg booed when Bluffy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claude Ranson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bluffy's zone, Felix Bove stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eddy Thiel came out of the goal and Felix Bove tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the game, Mario Leboeuf was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bluffy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arenberg the free kick. Eddy Drouillard was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Brice Denoual capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Brice Denoual really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 45 minutes into the match, Bluffy's goal looked a bit too open when Gilles Crozat came free, but Eddy Thiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laurent Defontaine was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute of the match Arenberg got a corner. Bluffy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Celestin Thomasse ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Celestin Thomasse got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eddy Thiel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Arenberg's Laurent Defontaine got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Bluffy's goal looked a bit too open when Laurent Defontaine came free, but Eddy Thiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 minutes of play Bluffy's Claude Ranson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 64 played minutes Bluffy got a freekick which was hit by Claude Ranson. Eddy Thiel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurent Defontaine, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Laurent Defontaine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Brice Denoual had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, Bluffy's goal looked a bit too open when Laurent Defontaine came free, but Eddy Thiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eddy Drouillard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliott Jamme in the 89th minute of play. Bluffy's Eddy Thiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurent Defontaine in the 93rd minute of play. Eddy Thiel made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Justin Musy sent off a good shot on target. If Laurent Defontaine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arenberg were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
