Monod's Djimmy Gaboriau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Junior Raveau in the 3rd minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Monod's Bob Werner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eugene Bargain narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Junior Raveau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute, Junior Raveau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 21 minutes, Marvin Boissin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monod and the Monod players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Monod getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Marvin Boissin hit a great ball. Bob Werner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Djimmy Gaboriau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Junior Raveau in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute Pacome Haffner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Djimmy Gaboriau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Pacome Haffner made a precise shot to the right of Djimmy Gaboriau. Monod's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Monod's zone, Pacome Haffner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Djimmy Gaboriau came out of the goal and Pacome Haffner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Djimmy Gaboriau didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Junior Raveau went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bob Werner made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Monod's Bob Werner made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugene Bargain was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bob Werner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugene Bargain having to interfere. Eugene Bargain stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raphael Munier's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Pacome Haffner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Monod's Eugene Bargain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jocelyn Jeanroy in the 68th minute of play. After 70 played minutes Monod got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Munier. Eugene Bargain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bob Werner, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Monod's goal looked a bit too open when Pacome Haffner came free, but Djimmy Gaboriau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Pacome Haffner came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Monod fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pacome Haffner couldn't finish the play. Djimmy Gaboriau made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Junior Raveau sent off a good shot on target. Junior Raveau's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Djimmy Gaboriau skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Monod's Djimmy Gaboriau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Monod from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd match minute, Monod was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raphael Munier to maneuver through the defense. Junior Raveau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Djimmy Gaboriau made a huge save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Monod eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
