After 5 minutes, Romaric Friedmann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lourches and the Annay players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th minute, Romaric Friedmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lourches's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Thomas Tonnelier was slow to take the kick. During this time Annay's players had a chance to rest. Darren Delelis was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Yves Rufin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Herbert Herment's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerald Courtes was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Gerald Courtes made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Joseph Rabeau sent off a good shot on target. Steve Mignot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donald Baronnet in the 27th minute of the match. A collision led to Annay getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Darren Delelis hit a great ball. Steve Mignot came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Lourches's Yves Rufin. But to his dismay, Yves Rufin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Annay getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Sabri Raison hit a great ball. 1-1 came through a penalty shot after 42 played minutes, when Annay:s Thomas Tonnelier calmly waited for Lourches:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. If Joseph Rabeau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Herbert Herment was the one to do the kick off. Darren Delelis kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. The referee gave Annay a penalty, 68 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Thomas Tonnelier, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lourches's Gerald Courtes. 2-1. After 71 played minutes Annay got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Herment. If Joseph Rabeau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Lourches defense, Herbert Herment kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerald Courtes. The Lourches fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerald Courtes should have stopped the shot. After 80 minutes, Pierrick Pecheur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Annay and the Lourches players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joseph Rabeau in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerald Courtes saved Lourches from getting behind. Herbert Herment struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Gerald Courtes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Annay. If Joseph Rabeau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Annay were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lourches for a fine match.
