Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Yves Rufin got the match started through his kick off. Lourches's Gerald Courtes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilbert Queguiner in the 6th minute of play. Coubron's Leon Brenet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Coubron from getting a goal against them. In the 9th match minute, Coubron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charly Ballereau to maneuver through the defense. Leon Brenet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yves Rufin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Coubron's zone, Yves Rufin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Brenet came out of the goal and Yves Rufin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gerald Courtes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthieu Durr in the 14th minute of the match. Lourches's Donald Baronnet was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 17th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Leon Brenet made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Donald Baronnet sent off a good shot on target. Donald Baronnet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Leon Brenet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donald Baronnet got free with Leon Brenet in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 32 minutes into the match, Coubron's goal looked a bit too open when Yves Rufin came free, but Leon Brenet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Coubron's Leon Brenet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Coubron from getting a goal against them. Yves Rufin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Lourches's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Queguiner came free, but Gerald Courtes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Donald Baronnet spun around in front of the goal 53 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Coubron's goal. With a little luck, Lourches's Gerald Courtes got control of the ball when Matthieu Durr tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yves Rufin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Coubron defense, Donald Baronnet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leon Brenet. The Coubron fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leon Brenet should have stopped the shot. 68 minutes into the game, Coubron's Matthieu Durr nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerald Courtes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. With his leg Gerald Courtes managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Coubron's Matthieu Durr fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Queguiner in the 79th minute of play forced Lourches's goalkeeper Gerald Courtes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Matthieu Durr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Pierre-Olivier Abiven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 86 minutes, Gilbert Queguiner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coubron's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilbert Queguiner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matthieu Durr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerald Courtes having to interfere. After 96 minutes, Matthieu Durr mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coubron and the Lourches players grew even worse after the yellow card. Matthieu Durr hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
