Auguste Longuepee ran back to his position shaking his head. Theo Sénéchal's late challenge caught a Bellecombette's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Theo Sénéchal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th minute, one of Eschentzwiller:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Eschentzwiller. The referee gave Bellecombette a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Camille Valembois, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Eschentzwiller's Moussa Plantade. 0-1. Hassan Grenot charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hassan Grenot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Bellecombette booed when Eschentzwiller was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hassan Grenot didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute of the match Charles Chable sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Moussa Plantade skillfully saved the ball. In the 26th minute, Florentin Fruchart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Cesar Mingot's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Moussa Plantade was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. In the 30th minute, Cesar Mingot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 32nd match minute, Bellecombette was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul-Henri Delassus to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 40th minute by John-David Fery got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 44th minute of the match Hassan Grenot sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Donatien Chabalier skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, Bellecombette's Donatien Chabalier got control of the ball when Allan Boudard tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After a defensive mix-up in Eschentzwiller's zone, Charles Chable stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moussa Plantade came out of the goal and Charles Chable tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Allan Boudard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Donatien Chabalier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Charles Chable during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 59 played minutes Bellecombette got a freekick which was hit by Charles Chable. Cesar Mingot was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 64th minute. Bellecombette's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Rudy Duthil hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. John-David Fery struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Donatien Chabalier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eschentzwiller. Moussa Plantade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesar Mingot in the 75th minute of the match. Auguste Longuepee could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Moussa Plantade made a huge save. Alix Costantini kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. When Florentin Fruchart came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Eschentzwiller fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florentin Fruchart couldn't finish the play. If Allan Boudard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Auguste Longuepee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 93 played minutes Bellecombette got a freekick which was hit by Charles Chable. Eschentzwiller were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after Bellecombette's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hassan Grenot took the corner. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
