Berenger Manceau made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christophe Cipriani in the 10th minute. Harold Darnaud might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julien Lacouture. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Harold Darnaud ran back to his position shaking his head. Karl Hamel might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julien Lacouture. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl Hamel ran back to his position shaking his head. If Tommy Goetz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Chevalon getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Marius Agez hit a great ball. Tommy Goetz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Berenger Manceau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31stth minute of the game Tommy Goetz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chevalon's Berenger Manceau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 36thth minute of the game Harold Darnaud who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Morelle's Julien Lacouture was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chevalon's Berenger Manceau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Chevalon from getting a goal against them. Louison Thiebaut charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Louison Thiebaut the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd minute, Louison Thiebaut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julien Lacouture showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harold Darnaud, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Julien Lacouture took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harold Darnaud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl Hamel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karl Hamel made a kick off. 1-0 became the score in the 53rd minute when Tommy Goetz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tommy Goetz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Louison Thiebaut was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 61 minutes had been played. In the 62nd minute, Louison Thiebaut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julien Lacouture came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Chevalon's Harold Darnaud. But to his dismay, Harold Darnaud quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Julien Lacouture showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Hamel in the 81st minute of the match. Morelle's Julien Lacouture played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Hamel in the 84th minute of play. Julien Lacouture made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Harold Darnaud sent off a good shot on target. Karl Hamel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julien Lacouture read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Tommy Goetz hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. 96 minutes into the match, Harold Darnaud had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julien Lacouture. Morelle's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Harold Darnaud was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Chevalon's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
