After a rather tough play, Chalezeule's Regis Dodin got a free kick in the 17th minute. 1-0 became the score in the 20th minute when Patrick Lagrave elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Bévange's goalkeeper Carlos Ballester had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrick Lagrave. After a rather tough play, Bévange's Richard Guermeur got a free kick in the 37th minute. Augustin Schatz might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Calvin Glorieux. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Augustin Schatz ran back to his position shaking his head. Olivier Aubier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Calvin Glorieux having to make a save. Bévange's Augustin Schatz got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chalezeule's Calvin Glorieux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustin Schatz in the 44th minute of play. Augustin Schatz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Calvin Glorieux tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olivier Aubier in the 47th minute of play forced Chalezeule's goalkeeper Calvin Glorieux to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ethan Michalak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Lagrave in the 51st minute of play forced Bévange's goalkeeper Carlos Ballester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 52 minutes into the game, Richard Guermeur recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Calvin Glorieux. Richard Guermeur showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augustin Schatz got free with Calvin Glorieux in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Patrick Lagrave received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Carlos Ballester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Olivier Aubier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Richard Guermeur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Calvin Glorieux tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
