Gregory Cattaneo started the match with the kick off. 9 minutes into the match, Bouqueval's Reynald Bouazza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robin Ober narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Fonbeauzard getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Kevin Godot hit a great ball. After having played for 16 minutes, Reynald Bouazza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bouqueval's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynald Bouazza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Fonbeauzard's goalkeeper Robin Ober had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reynald Bouazza. If Gregory Cattaneo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robin Ober showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillaume Lasserre, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Gregory Cattaneo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fonbeauzard's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregory Cattaneo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augustin Hugot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anatole Barth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. When Anatole Barth came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Fonbeauzard fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anatole Barth couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Fonbeauzard booed when Bouqueval was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dilan Boehler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yves Bourry kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guillaume Lasserre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Bouqueval's Guillaume Lasserre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robin Ober made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 65th minute, Gregory Cattaneo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Reynald Bouazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Robin Ober tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Guillaume Lasserre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillaume Lasserre in the 72nd minute of play forced Fonbeauzard's goalkeeper Robin Ober to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Fonbeauzard's Anatole Barth nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Augustin Hugot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Augustin Hugot came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Fonbeauzard's Kevin Godot. But to his dismay, Kevin Godot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After a rather tough play, Fonbeauzard's Gaetan Vera got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute Guillaume Lasserre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Ober saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gregory Cattaneo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Dilan Boehler fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bouqueval's protests and gave Dilan Boehler a yellow card for diving instead. Dilan Boehler hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When Gregory Cattaneo came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Fonbeauzard fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregory Cattaneo couldn't finish the play. The Fonbeauzard supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fonbeauzard would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
