When Salim Le Bouedec fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lentilly's protests and gave Salim Le Bouedec a yellow card for diving instead. Romeo Lecerf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Malcom Thouvenin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ewan Merieau in the 10th minute of play. When Theodore Claisse came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Ergal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Theodore Claisse couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ewan Merieau in the 18th minute of play forced Lentilly's goalkeeper Malcom Thouvenin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ewan Merieau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malcom Thouvenin having to interfere. Hippolyte Dambrine's late challenge caught a Ergal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hippolyte Dambrine helped the player get up and apologised. Gildas Gouzy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romeo Lecerf in the 25th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ewan Merieau in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Malcom Thouvenin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 31 played minutes Lentilly got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Rouquette. Ewan Merieau scored 0-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Malcom Thouvenin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 45th match minute, Ergal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cedric Gitton to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Malcom Thouvenin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ewan Merieau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Malcom Thouvenin made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Theodore Claisse sent off a good shot on target. Romeo Lecerf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Gildas Gouzy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute Lionel Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gildas Gouzy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Samuel Ferron fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ergal's protests and gave Samuel Ferron a yellow card for diving instead. Samuel Ferron kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Marcel Rouquette got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st minute Romeo Lecerf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gildas Gouzy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Romeo Lecerf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Romeo Lecerf notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Ergal's Gildas Gouzy. Gildas Gouzy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alex Dejoux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gildas Gouzy having to interfere. Romeo Lecerf took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gildas Gouzy. Gildas Gouzy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Lentilly's Romeo Lecerf got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Alex Dejoux left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lentilly fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. 83 minutes into the match, Romeo Lecerf had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gildas Gouzy. Ergal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romeo Lecerf was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Laurent Jacquemart kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Lionel Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lentilly's supporters rose to their feet, but Lionel Teixeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gildas Gouzy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gildas Gouzy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Lecerf in the 93rd minute of play. If Theodore Claisse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Lentilly were the better team. Lentilly's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
