Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Rezé's David Guignon started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. David Guignon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilien Raillard having to interfere. In the 8th minute David Guignon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilien Raillard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jonas Rampon fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rezé's protests and gave Jonas Rampon a yellow card for diving instead. Pierre-Henri Chazeau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Paolini, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. David Guignon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Emilien Raillard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute Luc Baheux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre-Henri Chazeau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Crêt booed when Rezé was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joris Redon didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luc Baheux in the 34th minute of play forced Rezé's goalkeeper Pierre-Henri Chazeau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute Luc Baheux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre-Henri Chazeau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rezé's Pierre-Henri Chazeau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Paolini in the 37th minute of play. Daniel Paolini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pierre-Henri Chazeau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. The Crêt fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Crêt's Luc Baheux looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luc Baheux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Pierre-Henri Chazeau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Crêt's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre-Olivier Guichaoua came free, but Emilien Raillard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pierre-Henri Chazeau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luc Baheux in the 68th minute of the match. Rezé's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pierre-Olivier Guichaoua was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pierre-Henri Chazeau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. David Guignon struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Emilien Raillard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rezé. David Guignon scored 1-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emilien Raillard, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rezé's Pierre-Henri Chazeau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luc Baheux in the 95th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
