Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jean-Paul Siri started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Michael Gaye made a precise shot to the right of Jacques Suteau. Virolle's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Michael Gaye's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacques Suteau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Jacques Suteau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Gaye, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnold Beauvois during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Toulon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnold Beauvois to maneuver through the defense. The corner led Virolle's Louison Dewilde to fire away a dangerous shot which Willy Pauvert despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 28th minute, Jean-Paul Siri reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Willy Pauvert. The goal made the score 1-1. 34 minutes into the match, Toulon's Eliott Minne sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacques Suteau narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Toulon's goalkeeper Willy Pauvert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomas Bienvenu. Thomas Bienvenu in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Willy Pauvert, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliott Minne in the 47th minute of play forced Virolle's goalkeeper Jacques Suteau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Michael Gaye to strike the kick off in the second half. Toulon were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Virolle's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Donald Desplanques took the corner. Jacques Suteau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Gaye in the 54th minute of play. Michael Gaye hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute Thomas Bienvenu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willy Pauvert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Willy Pauvert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Bienvenu, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 84 minutes into the match, Virolle's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Gaye came free, but Jacques Suteau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 86 minutes, Thomas Bienvenu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Virolle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Bienvenu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliott Minne got free with Jacques Suteau in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
