Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Basile Beauchet started the match with the kick off. Thomas Bienvenu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jean-Paul Siri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Jean-Christophe Frémeaux tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Thomas Bienvenu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jean-Christophe Frémeaux was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Marclaz's Jean-Christophe Frémeaux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Paul Siri in the 11th minute of play. Basile Beauchet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Basile Beauchet came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Marclaz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basile Beauchet couldn't finish the play. In the 18th match minute, Virolle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucien Lachaux to maneuver through the defense. After 20 minutes, Dylan Heckel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Virolle and the Marclaz players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dylan Heckel kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After having played for 26 minutes, Thomas Bienvenu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Virolle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Bienvenu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marclaz's Basile Beauchet was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 33rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The supporters of Virolle booed when Marclaz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pierre-Emmanuel Huguenin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, Henri Beurrier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 44 minutes, Basile Beauchet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marclaz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basile Beauchet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the game, Fernand Quelen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marclaz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Virolle the free kick. In the 45th minute, Fernand Quelen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jean-Paul Siri made a kick off. Jacques Suteau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehdi Martz in the 53rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Mehdi Martz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marclaz's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehdi Martz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacques Suteau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 56 minutes, Robin Francois mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Virolle and the Marclaz players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Fernand Quelen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marclaz's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernand Quelen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacques Suteau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thomas Bienvenu struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Jean-Christophe Frémeaux didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Virolle. Basile Beauchet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thomas Bienvenu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Christophe Frémeaux having to interfere. Jean-Paul Siri struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Jean-Christophe Frémeaux didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Virolle. In the 91st minute Jean-Paul Siri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Christophe Frémeaux saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robin Francois fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Christophe Frémeaux having to interfere. Marclaz's Jean-Christophe Frémeaux proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Marclaz from getting a goal against them. Marclaz were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Virolle for a fine match.
