In the 7th minute of the match, Basile Postic tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Malik Douay saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A hard shot 9 in the game by Michel Serres from a close distance when the talented Malik Douay managed to make a qualified save. Rocheron's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michel Serres during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Michel Serres kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Yvan Paccard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Derycke, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Alfred Mahot's late challenge caught a Rocheron's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfred Mahot helped the player get up and apologised. Rocheron's Antony Mauroy got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antony Mauroy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute Basile Postic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malik Douay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Biot booed when Rocheron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jolan Gouin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Firmin Gomis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the game, Rocheron's Joseph Derycke nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yvan Paccard made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 34 minutes into the game, Antony Mauroy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Yvan Paccard was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 42nd minute, Michel Serres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Basile Postic managed to get in a good position for a shot. Biot's supporters rose to their feet, but Basile Postic was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Malik Douay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Basile Postic was the one to do the kick off. Malik Douay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Serres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Rocheron getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Renaud Clerget hit a great ball. Michel Serres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basile Postic recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michel Serres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Malik Douay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Malik Douay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basile Postic, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Michel Serres struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Malik Douay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Biot. 83 minutes into the match, Rocheron's Antony Mauroy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yvan Paccard narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Basile Postic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malik Douay having to interfere. Rocheron's Malik Douay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Serres in the 91st minute of play. Yvan Paccard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph Derycke in the 93rd minute of play.
