Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Steve Philippart made the kick off which started today's match. René Robine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boris Eynard in the 3rd minute of play. René Robine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steve Philippart in the 7th minute of the match. In the 11th match minute, Montchat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernest Briens to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute, Boris Eynard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Saint Aygulf's zone, Gildas Villedieu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Germain Desplat came out of the goal and Gildas Villedieu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute, Boris Eynard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saint Aygulf fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 22 minutes into the game, Gildas Villedieu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montchat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saint Aygulf the free kick. In the 22nd minute, Gildas Villedieu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boris Eynard struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. René Robine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saint Aygulf. When Boris Eynard came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Saint Aygulf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boris Eynard couldn't finish the play. If Gildas Villedieu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 34 minutes of play, Saint Aygulf's Steve Philippart made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. René Robine was left in no man's land by his defense there! Steve Philippart's late challenge caught a Montchat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Steve Philippart helped the player get up and apologised. After the first half Saint Aygulf were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Élie Cahuzac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Germain Desplat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marius Tranchand hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, Hocine Meyniel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th match minute, Montchat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernest Briens to maneuver through the defense. Élie Cahuzac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Germain Desplat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 minutes, Rudy Dayde mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saint Aygulf and the Montchat players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rudy Dayde kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Saint Aygulf's Boris Eynard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that René Robine narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ernest Briens hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Saint Aygulf's Steve Philippart managed to work through Montchat's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Steve Philippart dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 90th match minute, Montchat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Lauret to maneuver through the defense. Gildas Villedieu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germain Desplat having to interfere.
